Tasting notes

The nose has a curvy, ripe quality, an air of very ripe peach, banana flambé, with oaking. The palate has a roll of richness, delivered immediately, with nudges of cooked orange, lime in the flavour. It’s a rather static style of wine suited to sauced dishes, works on its oily texture. There’s a touch of late grapey tang. It’s hidden and rather downbeat today, but is gentle, assured, rounded. Quote & Reviews

Gilbert & Gaillard: “Robe or clair brillant.
