Tasting notes

Black fruit (blackberry, cherry), herbs and a mild tone of licorice. The taste is mouth filling, shows depth. Berry and cherry fruit as well as frivolous raspberry and wild strawberry. Good acidity, lively and very intens, holds well. The tannins are very soft, despite the act that the wine is still very young. Should age well, give it at least five years of bottle aging and experience how great Rhône wine can taste. Souplesse and generosity of the grenache, in perfect balance with the structure and ‘coolness’of the syrah. Perfection captured in a bottle; true craftsman skills. ‘Rayas’-like refinement, which happens to be the reference for the Gallety family.  [May 2018]

Quote & Reviews

David-Alexandre Gallety: “Un vin qui sait procurer énormément de plaisir dans sa prime jeunesse, avec un potentiel de garde d’une quinzaine d’années.”
