guide for quality wines from the Rhône valley

Local Tips

We visit the Rhone valley several times a year to maintain our contacts with wine producers and to keep track of recent developments. We fully enjoy what the region has to offer and each visit to it brings us new inspiration. The list below is an attempt to share some of our experiences with regard to good restaurants and charming lodging facilities. They are listed in alphabetical order per region.

Accommodation

We have stayed at each of these addresses. These are therefore first-hand experiences and very personal. We have a preference for small-scale accommodations in a quiet and rural environment, where the host has time for a little personal attention. >>>

Restaurants

For us, a good restaurant is a place where they cook with passion, using fresh (local) products and where the wine list is taken seriously. This can vary from a small dining room to a stylish restaurant with Michelin ambitions. >>>
